The Grant that Became a Collaboration

Please join Zach Newell, Dean of Library Services, Booth Library, Eastern Illinois University and Chris Houchens, Director, Charleston Carnegie Library, discuss their grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Development, Office of Broadband. The grant included many community partners in preparing area organizations and individuals in gaining capacity and skills to be ready for broadband and other improved 21st century technologies. Training and documentation was created for the grant that will be shared. The value of partnering has lead to plans for future collaboration and further grant applications. Time will be included for questions and the sharing of knowledge.
