About

Todd Bruns is a Professor in Library Services at Eastern Illinois University, where he serves as the Institutional Repository Librarian and Head of Scholarly Communications. He has an MA in Library and Information Studies (UW-Madison 2005) and an MS in Technology (EIU 2012). His research interests include scholarly communication and publishing, open access, data management, and active learning. Todd currently chairs the EIU Faculty Senate (previously chaired 2018-2019, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 academic years), the Library Services Scholarly Communications and Web Resources committees, and currently teaches TEC5173: Global Technology as an adjunct instructor for the School of Technology.
