Dr. Danessa Carter was a graduate from Eastern Illinois University's Clinical Counseling Program in 2012 and she graduated from Northern Illinois University with her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision in 2019. Dr. Carter teaches in both the Clinical Counseling and School Counseling tracks. Some of her clinical specialties include grief, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Research interests include addictions and counseling in rural communities.
