About

My research focuses on methods of spatial representation and the implications of alternative views of space, distance and uncertainty on geographical analysis. Specific topics of interest to me include gradation and spatial uncertainty, co-location analysis and distance-based sampling. A number of my research papers have focused on statistical analysis of presettlement land survey records used to reconstruct historical landscapes in North America prior to Euro-American settlement.
